Born on the road to Murwillumbah from the family’s farm (at Mt Burrell) Peter has a strong affinity with the Tweed Valley.
Peter has worked in the accounting profession for more than 44 years and has been a partner and held a Public Practice Certificate for over 33 years. He studied at the University of New England in Armidale and graduated with a Bachelor of Economics degree in 1977. He then added a Diploma in Financial Management in 1978. He has been a member of CPA Australia since 1982 and since 1989 has held a Public Practice certificate.
Peter is a registered Tax Agent, registered Company Auditor, Law Society External Examiner, registered Self Managed Superannuation Fund auditor and Member of the National Tax and Accountants’ Association.
Peter has developed strong knowledge of the taxation of primary producers but also has experience in dealing with a variety of industries including retail, manufacturing, motel, building and service industries. He has many clients with rental properties and self managed superannuation funds. He has a wide breadth of experience as a Tax Agent and is committed to continued professional development to maintain contemporary knowledge in taxation law and practice.
As a registered company auditor since 1989, Peter has worked with company management and Boards of Directors in a variety of industries including registered clubs, aged care, credit unions, real estate, legal practice, child care and various other commercial and charitable activities.
Interests include: Surfing, fishing, boating, snorkelling, reading, bushwalking, bike riding and travelling. He is a life member of Snapper Rocks Surfriders Club.
Stuart has been in the accounting and finance industry for over 30 years and has been a partner/principal of the firm since 2006. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, majoring in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Business Law from the University of New England as well as a Bachelor of Business degree, majoring in Information Management from Queensland University of Technology. Stuart was admitted as a full member of the Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia in 2005, earned his CPA Public Practice Certificate in 2006 and advanced to the status of Fellow of CPA Australia in 2018.
Stuart is a Registered Tax Agent and Registered Self-Managed Superannuation Auditor.
Stuart has lived and worked in the local area for over 40 years. He has held a number of directorships, including Treasurer of the Ocean Shores Men’s Golf Committee, a position he has held for over 15 years.
Stuart prides himself on providing his clients with exceptional service and quality advice. He believes there is no point baffling clients with terms they don’t understand or quoting them sections of the tax act. As a result, Stuart’s clients find him approachable, down-to-earth and knowledgeable.
Stuart loves spending time with his family, playing golf and bowls, fishing, surfing, reading, and the Pride of the League and 2014 NRL Premiers – the mighty South Sydney Rabbitohs!
Aaron studied a Bachelor of Business at Griffith University on the Gold Coast where he completed his degree in 1997. Shortly after he commenced work at Grant & Brady then went on to complete his CPA qualification in August 2001.
Since joining the firm in 1998, Aaron has been involved in auditing many corporations, such as Registered Clubs, private companies, not-for profits, trust accounts and self-managed superannuation funds.
In February 2014, Aaron attained accreditation as a Registered Auditor.
Aaron has played many sports for local clubs including golf, cricket, tennis and darts. This has provided an opportunity to serve on many committees including the Murwillumbah Cricket Club, Tweed Valley Darts Association and the Murwillumbah RSL Social Golf Club.
Rebecca commenced work with Grant & Brady in 2000 after completing her Higher School Certificate at Wollumbin High School. She graduated from Griffith University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accountancy and Finance.
Tiffany graduated from Southern Cross University with a Bachelor of Business in 1990, majoring in Marketing & Management. She then obtained her Master of Professional Accounting from Southern Cross University in 2004 and commenced work at Grant and Brady that same year.
Caterina is the friendly voice that has been greeting you on the phone for more than fifteen years. Caterina processes client documents and assists with business bookkeeping. She attended Mount Saint Patrick College and lives in Burringbar with her family.
Preeti moved to Australia in 2008 after becoming a Chartered Accountant in India, where she also worked in public practice. She completed a Master of Professional Accounting with Southern Cross University in 2010. Preeti joined Grant & Brady in 2020 and is now a qualified member of CPA Australia.
Colleen grew up in Ocean Shores and now resides in Burringbar with her family. She attended Mount Saint Patrick College then graduated from Griffith University in 2009 with dual degrees in Commerce and International Business. Before joining Grant & Brady, Colleen owned her own produce wholesale and retail business. She is a registered BAS agent and is currently studying to become a member of CPA Australia.
Kelly has been in the accounting industry for over 20 years and joined Grant & Brady in 2021.
Living in Murwillumbah with her family, Kelly enjoys reading, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Sherrie is our wonderful receptionist. Sherrie attended Kingscliff High School and now lives in the beautiful area of Crystal Creek with her family.
Lisa immigrated from South Africa to Australia when she was 7 years of age. She has an advanced diploma in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Accounting from Central Queensland University. Lisa is a CPA Australia member and has been working in taxation and business services since she earned her degree in 2015.
